Job Description for Tesla Careers USA Job Hiring Third Party Risk Analyst
This role will focus on third party risk assessments, vendor lifecycle and supply chain threats from an information security perspective. This individual will contribute to our information collection and analysis efforts, threat hunting, and collaboration with partner teams to implement proactive countermeasures within Tesla from a supply chain perspective. What You’ll Do
- Conduct third party risk assessments to anticipate, identify and mitigate risks to Tesla’s security posture from vendor relationships
- Participate in key phases of vendor lifecycles from pre-onboarding to offboarding of vendors
- Coordinate and collaborate with stakeholders to identify and communicate risk from third party relationships, and drive related mitigations
- Collection of information from various sources for third party risk assessments as part of onboarding and continuous monitoring
- Track findings that arise during vendor onboarding, assess resulting risk to Tesla and collaborate with stakeholders to drive mitigation to acceptable levels
- Apply research and analytic methodologies to identify risks associated with various supply chains, current or projected procurements to produce comprehensive threat intelligence products for stakeholders
What You’ll Bring
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or the equivalent in experience and evidence of exceptional ability
- Knowledge of security systems and understanding the life cycle of network attacks, threats, attack vectors, and methods of exploitation
- 6+ years of relevant Information Security and 2+ years of Risk Assessment, Threat Analysis or Supply Chain experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong relationship management skills
