Educational Qualification Required:
The applicant must be a bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering or appropriate industry experience. Should have experience writing software primarily by using Java. Must have the capability to work autonomously. Should have good written and verbal communication skills. The applicant should have an understanding of the open-source way of building software, a positive attitude, and a desire to share ideas openly. Candidate should have experience with transactions and an agile methodology is a plus. Candidate should have a basic understanding of the principles of reliable distributed systems and middleware, including cloud technologies like Kubernetes or Red Hat OpenShift is an added advantage and understanding of the importance of testing. Knowledge with software development environments, preferably GitHub and Apache Maven. Candidate should have the ability to quickly and accurately troubleshoot issues
Job Responsibilities of Red Hat:
You will develop software for the Red Hat Middleware transactions suite of offerings with a community-based software development approach. You will interact with globally distributed open source project teams and communities under the mentorship of other engineers in the team. You will collaborate with the team members and additionally with the quality engineering (QE) and documentation teams and other teams within Red Hat to integrate middleware technology into other platforms. Perform day-to-day maintenance of our current code base as and when required, and Develop ideas for new components
