About the Company: MobiKwik is an Indian company. It was founded in 2009. It is providing a mobile phone-based payment system and digital wallet.

Customers or Users of Mobikwik add money to an online wallet that can be used for payments. The Reserve Bank of India authorized the company’s use of the MobiKwik wallet, in 2013. In May, 2016 Mobikwik began providing small loans to consumers as part of its service.

In November 2016, It launched its MobiKwik Lite mobile app designed for users of older 2G mobile networks and for those in areas with poor internet connectivity. In November 2016, the company reported having 1.5 million merchants using its service and a user base of 55 million customers.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Candidate will work with your team to invent, design and build software that is stable and performant.
  • The candidate will write code that an SDE unfamiliar with the system can understand.
  • Your solutions are pragmatic and you are expert in a broad range of design approaches and know when it is appropriate to use them (and when it is not).
  • Candidate do things with the proper level of complexity the first time (or at least minimize incidental complexity)
  • Candidates consider the legacy of the code you produce, limiting the use of short-term workarounds.
  • Candidate creates flexible software without over-engineering.
  • You will work on project ideas with customers, stakeholders, and peers.
  • Candidate helps your team evolve by actively participating in the code review process, design discussions, team planning.
  • You take on projects and make software enhancements that improve team software and processes.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must be bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Should have experience in software design and development.
  • Expertise with at least one Object Oriented language (e.g. Java).
  • Candidate should have computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem-solving, and complexity analysis.
  • Candidate must possess strong track record of project delivery for large, cross-functional projects.
  • Should have experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers.
  • Should have experience with building high-performance, highly-available and scalable distributed systems.
  • You have willingness to dive deep, experiment rapidly and get things done.
  • Should have experience with API Design, ability to architect and implement an intuitive customer and third-party integration story.
  • Capability to think and analyze both breadth-wise (client, server, DB, control flow) and depth-wise (threads, sessions, space-time complexity) while designing and implementing services.
