As an engineer, you will
- Run/Support production Cloud application environments on AWS
- Handle/Support existing toolsets used in deploying VPCs, EC2 instances and related services
- Work on new AWS environments as part of new projects
- Ensure security standard methodologies are followed as per the security compliances
- Work in 24/7 rotational shifts
Who You Are
You will enjoy working in a fast-paced dynamic environment with a “take-charge” / “can-do” attitude and is able to demonstrate flexibility and resiliency. You be self-sufficient and be able to work with minimal supervision. Work with geographically distributed teams across different time zones.
Minimum Qualifications
- Candidate should have a bachelor’s degree (or above) in engineering/computer science with an overall work experience of 3 – 6 years.
- Candidate should have experience in a public cloud environment – AWS
- Candidate should have experience with automation tools such as Ansible or Terraform
- Proficient at creating Docker container configurations
- Candidate should have experience with container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes
- Candidate should have experience with automation tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
- Flexibility Ability to take care of short-term requirements as well as long-term goals
- Knowledge on CI/CD tools like Jenkins/AWS CodeDeploy
- Hands-on exposure to automation with proficiency in at least one programming language
- Candidate should have experience in Monitoring tools like Nagios
